Delete Resources created with Amplify

Run this Amplify CLI command to delete all of the resources tied to the project from the cloud:

amplify delete

Confirm you decision:

? Are you sure you want to continue? This CANNOT be undone. (This would delete all the environments of the project from the cloud and wipe out all the 
local files created by Amplify CLI) Yes

Project deleted locally.

Amplify will delete resources, that were created with Amplify. All resources, that were created manually, will have to be manually deleted.

  1. Delete Message Templates
  2. Delete Recommender Models

Personalize
  1. Open the Amazon Personalize console
  2. On the Dataset groups page, click on the dataset that you want to delete, e.g. tradeldeals-dataset-group
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Datasets
    1. Choose each active Data Set (e.g. traveldeals-items and traveldeals-interactions)
    2. Choose Delete
  4. In the navigation pane, choose Event trackers
    1. Choose the event tracker that you want to delete, e.g. traveldeals-event-tracker
    2. Choose Delete.
  5. In the navigation pane, choose Campaigns
    1. Choose the campaign that you want to delete (e.g. traveldeals-recommendations-campaign)
    2. Choose Delete
  6. In the navigation pane, choose Solutions and recipes
    1. Choose the solution that you want to delete (e.g. traveldeals-solution)
    2. Choose Delete
  7. In the navigation pane, choose Dataset groups
    1. Choose the data set that you want to delete, e.g. tradeldeals-dataset-group
    2. Choose Delete

  1. Delete S3 buckets used for training, e.g. traveldeals-12142020

  1. Open the Amazon Kinesis console
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Delivery Streams / Data Firehose
  3. Choose the delivery stream that you want to delete, e.g. traveldeals-delivery-stream
  4. Choose Delete delivery stream
Glue
  1. Open the AWS Glue console
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Databases
    1. Choose the database that you want to delete, e.g. traveldealsdb
    2. Choose Delete database
  3. In the navigation page, choose Crawlers
    1. Choose the crawler that you want to delete, e.g. traveldealsDb-crawler
    2. Choose Delete crawler
S3 bucket
  • Delete S3 buckets used to store events from Kineses Data Firehose, e.g. traveldeals-12142020-kdf
  • Delete S3 buckets used to store results of Athena queries, e.g. traveldeals-12142020-athena
